JACOBS SHOES
I designed the exclusive Jacobs shoe shop in Kikar Hamedina as a minimalist light colored space in order to create a neutral modern background for the shoes themselves. The dominant color is white. The floor boards are made of black painted MDF covered with protective epoxy lacquer.
Dozens of shoe models are displayed on long shelved and in an elongated cabinet.
The storage space was moved to the upper floor in order to better utilize the space on the first floor. A huge chandelier illuminates the center of the shop in addition to peripheral lighting elements and the streaming of natural light.
Another impressive element is a huge black and white poster hanging above the display, so it can be seen even by customers approaching the shop.
