‘SULEMA’ SPICES FACTORY SHOP
The designed ‘Sulema’ spice factory shop – a company which imports food, spices and dried fruit, located at the Zur-Igal, is the perfect substitute for market-dwellers for inhaling frangrances and colors.
The shop gives its’ visitors a sensual colinary shopping experience, and was planned and a prototype model for a network of shops. The target of the design was to create an inviting space which lures the buyers to examine, smell and buy from the featured products.
The planning was done to maximize the display grounds and show the products in an accessible and attractive manner, and to achieve that we ordered special hand made pottery, selected weaved baskets and built display shelves in different sizes.
Another challange was to create pleasant “closures” of the front of the shop, which is mostly built from large glass vitrines. The windows were covered with dark wooden awning shadings which create a colonial atmosphere and can be opened and closed at wish.
In addition, the shop hosts a small cafe’ which allows shoppers to enjoy, alongside the experience of buying, a cut of coffee and some fresh cookies.
